Meet Dr. Brandon Walker
Dr. Brandon Walker is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he excelled in operative, fixed and removable prosthodontics. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2005-2015 and earned a B.S. in Public Health from American Military University. He is an avid member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Operative Dentistry, and American College of Prosthodontics with a special interest in microscope facilitated biomimetic restorative dentistry.
With a passion for dental advocacy, continuing education, and clinical excellence, Dr. Walker has a knack for breaking down barriers and challenging the status quo. In 2018 he became the first dental student to be accepted into the Washington State Dental Association's Leadership Institute, earning the WSDA President's Award for outstanding contributions to high value dental advocacy initiatives throughout the state. A pioneer of student-run study clubs at the University of Washington, Dr. Walker paved pathways for predoctoral dental students to delve deeper into dentistry with an emphasis on modern-day philosophies and techniques.
In his first year of dental school, Dr. Walker founded with four colleagues an award-winning non-profit dental outreach program known as Husky Health Bridge. Partnered with Medical Teams International and other support organizations throughout Greater Seattle, Dr. Walker and his team facilitated the delivery of free dental care to sanctioned tent city populations in Seattle along with various farming communities in Eastern Washington. Dr. Walker continues his community service through clinical volunteer efforts with Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic.
As a natural educator, Dr. Walker has distinguished himself as a skilled speaker on additive direct composite dentistry. He enjoys speaking to students and faculty at universities throughout the country, where curiosity and the passion to learn is high. Dr. Walker is Co-Founder of the Institute of Injection Overmolding in Seattle, Washington where he facilitates the training of clinicians throughout the country in modern, multidisciplinary direct composite dentistry.
No stranger to the dentist, Dr. Walker finds joy in helping patients find comfort and confidence in their dental experience. Throughout his military career he experienced a great deal of dental trauma and chronic pain. His personal challenges afford him a unique perspective as a dental provider with a high level of empathy for his patients. His commitment to patient-centered, high-integrity care is exemplified by the Marine Corps motto, "Always Faithful."
A native Pacific Northwesterner, Dr. Walker enjoys traveling, hiking, bicycling, snowboarding, and most of all re-experiencing the joys of life through the eyes of his lively three-year old son, Atlantus.
